The government of Iran sends three international agreements with Bangladesh and Finland on taxation, and with Tajikistan on legal assistance in criminal matters, to the parliament for approval

Nouraei & M. Mostafavi Law Offices –May 4,2023-Tehran –According to the announcement of the Office of the Legal Deputy of the President of Iran, the following agreement bills had been sent to the Islamic Consultative Majlis (parliament) for approval:

The bill of agreement on bilateral legal assistance in criminal matters between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Republic of Tajikistan, by letter No. 21277 dated 12/02/1402 (May 2,2023)

The bill of agreement between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Republic of Finland to avoid double taxation and prevent tax evasion regarding income taxes through letter No. 21263 dated 12/02/1402 (May 2,2023)

The Bill of Agreement between the Government of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh to avoid double taxation on income taxes and prevent tax evasion, by letter No. 21760 dated 13/02/1402 (May 3,2023).

According to Article 77 of the constitutional law of Iran, International treaties, protocols, contracts, and agreements must be approved by the Islamic Consultative Majlis (parliament).
