Iran’s government has approved visa cancellation with the government of Tajikistan for ordinary passport holders.

Mostafavi Law Offices – July 30, 2024- Tehran- According to the Official Gazette No. 23101 dated 30 TIR1403 (July 20, 2024), the government of Iran has approved the cancellation of visas for holders of ordinary (regular) passports between the government of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the government of the Republic of Tajikistan only for air travel from Dushanbe to Tehran and on the condition of reciprocity.

The text of Resolution No. H62109T/58551 (June 31, 2024) of the Council of Ministers is as follows:

‘’The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is authorized to establish visa cancellation regulations for ordinary (regular) passport holders between the Government of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, subject to (30) days of stay during each period (90) days from the moment of first arrival, only for air travel from the origin of Dushanbe to the destination of Tehran and on the condition of reciprocity”.
