Iran joins the Framework Agreement on Facilitation of Cross-Border Paperless Trade in Asia and the Pacific

Nourlaw-9 December 2019-Tehran-The Iranian parliament on 10 November approved the law of the Framework Agreement on Facilitation of Cross-Border Paperless Trade in Asia and the Pacific. The treaty includes an introduction and 25 articles.

The Agreement, a UN treaty deposited with the Secretary General of the United Nations in New York, aims at accelerating the implementation of digital trade facilitation measures for trade development. The final treaty text was adopted by the Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific in May 2016.
