Iran-Ghana Shipping Agreement Submitted to the Parliament

Nourlaw.com-20 December 2014- The Iranian president presented a bill outlining
the trade and shipping agreement between Iran and Ghana to the Parliament for review
and approval.  In the introduction to the bill, it is stated: “in view of the
importance of shipping in the movement of goods and passengers owing to the role
of sea transportation and its encouragement and facilitation in development
of commercial activities and in line with its utilization for laying the
grounds for economic growth and for the purpose of activating, expansion
and greater efficiency of performance in maritime trade between the government
of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the government of the Republic of Ghana, as
well as for strengthening and deepening bilateral cooperation, the
following bill is hereby submitted for ratification through the legal formalities”.
