Iran and Belarus Agree on Transfer of Convicts

Nouraei & Mostafavi Law Offices – March 13, 2023- Tehran- During a ceremony attended by the presidents of Iran and Belarus, the Minister of Justice of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Minister of Interior of Belarus signed an agreement on the transfer of convicts between Iran and the Republic of Belarus.

In the past, Iran and Belarus have concluded agreements on judicial assistance in criminal matters, judicial assistance in civil cases, and the extradition of criminals. The transfer of convicts is the fourth legal document signed between the two countries.
